The students and parents of the Italic Institute's Aurora Youth Program expressed their opinion of Shark Tale at a rally held in Floral Park, New York on Saturday, November 8, 2003. Conducted in a classroom setting and open to students of all ethnic and racial backgrounds, the Italic Institute's Aurora Youth Program introduces children to Italian language, history and culture, and strengthens their ability to resist acceptance of the defamatory images routinely purveyed by popular culture through vehicles like DreamWorks' Shark Tale.
